Fall Fun

Call me basic but fall is probably my favorite season. Not just the pumpkin spice, but also the apple cider donuts, fall colors, sweater weather, and every other thing people pretend to roll their eyes at but secretly love. Fall in Chicago and most of the midwest seems to last about a week tops and goes from blazing summer to bone chilling cold before I ever even do anything fall-themed. Not this year though!

One of my close friends who moved to Texas last year came to visit for a long weekend and we had the perfect weather for a trip to a pumpkin patch and farm out in the suburbs. Well worth the 1.5 hour drive for some spectacular donuts, hot chocolate, and Instagram pictures.
